Hensley Peters is the eldest of four children. Thanks to her lively siblings, she has honed her vocal power through the vibrant, and often boisterous, arias that constantly fill her home. This natural training has allowed Peters to project on the operatic stage with confidence as she made her singing debut with The Atlanta Opera in January 2024 performing as Child Soloist and as a member of the children’s chorus in La bohème. Since then, she appeared as Mustardseed in The Atlanta Opera’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream as well as a reprise role of Child Soloist in La bohème as part of The Bohème Project at Pullman Yards. In December 2024, she made her musical debut in one of her dream roles, Young Anna in Frozen: The Musical at City Springs Theatre Company. Peters is also a ballerina who trains with The Georgia Ballet and has performed in The Nutcracker as a Mouse, Angel, Mother Ginger Child, Chinese Dragon, Elf, and Page.
