OPERA ON THE MAINSTAGE
One of the core missions of The Atlanta Opera is to provide a wide variety of education and outreach opportunities for students of all ages. Below are education-sponsored opportunities for young people to see the 2011-2012 mainstage productions. Please visit the Study Guide Library for instructional tools and resources related to these productions for use by educators, parents and students.

Final Dress Rehearsals
The Atlanta Opera is pleased to offer complimentary passes for each Final Dress Rehearsal of the 2011-2012 season. Passes will be distributed on a limited basis to non-profit organizations serving children and families.

Eligible organizations must provide proof of 501(c)3 tax status (tax ID number).

A maximum of 25 passes will be granted per organization per production. A minimum of 2 adult chaperones is required for each group, with a maximum of 5 adults per group

Organizations will be required to pay a $35 processing/handling fee, which will be refunded if your application is not accepted.

Applications will be accepted separately for each production period. See application deadlines listed below.

Student Tickets
The Atlanta Opera is pleased to partner with your school by offering discounted student tickets! The price is $15 per ticket, with $10 going to the opera and $5 going straight to your school. These specially priced tickets are available for all Tuesday and Friday performances of the 2011-2012 season. Seating will be done two weeks prior to the performance and will be Best Available in order of reservation; we want students to have the best opera experience possible! Quantities are limited, so place your order early!

A minimum of 25 students is required, limited to 100 tickets per school.

A deposit of 10% is required to reserve seating.

Full payment ($10 per ticket) is due to The Atlanta Opera no later than two weeks prior to the performance.

Tickets will be mailed to the school representative for distribution.
